Computers

Each classroom is set up with two computer stations that the children learn and play on daily. The computers are set up for the children to learn basic computer skills, keyboard knowledge, academic achievement, and of course fun games too!

Music and movement

Music and movement is often the children’s favorite part of the day because they are encouraged to express their silliest side as they sing and dance to a variety of children’s songs. We have experts come in to give specialized classes in dance and music.

Center Based learning

Each classroom at Little Friends Enrichment Program is center based, allowing each child to maneuver freely around the classroom. Some of the centers at the school include

• a sensory table
• a math station
• a manipulative station
• a writing station
• a library station
• a reading station
• a building station
• a play kitchen
• an art center

Motor skills

At the learning center, kids learn gross and fine motor skills. Tasks requiring the use of emerging motor skills are constantly presented in the centers as well as outside on our playground.
